Introduction
Lu Sexton is a writing coach and editor who has worked with debut novelists since 2014. Her mission is to help writers bring out the best in their work and move closer to publication.
Lu developed her coaching method through years of working with new writers, offering manuscript appraisals in a workshop setting rather than as a written report. She is an Accredited Editor with the Institute of Professional Editors accreditation scheme, Australia's only professional accreditation standard for editors. She co-hosts the Curious Writers Workshops with fellow editor Stephanie Preston, presenting themed writing workshops online and at festivals including the last two Words in Winters.
