Opening weekend highlights – Sunday

Sunday morning started early with a booked out Mushroom Cultivation masterclass with Milkwood Permaculture, followed by the U3A story circle next door at Hotel Frangos.

Michael Webster then had us captivated by all sorts of fascinating facts on the publishing industry,

and Crime Writer Sandi Wallace gave us a little insight into her writing life and an overview of her new book Into the Fog.

The afternoon saw the return of David Holmgren to the stage with the co-stars of his new book Retrosuburbia,

Shokoofeh Azar and Dee White teamed up with Kevin Childs to tells us about the power of weaving factual events into fictional works.

Nick Ritar and Kirsten Bradley read from the brand new book Milkwood:Seaweed, tomato, Bees, Mushrooms & the Wild,

and handed out tasty samples from each chapter.

Anthony Petrucci sang for us,

and there was a remarkable poetry and open mic session that continued on into the evening at the Hub. Meanwhile, over at the Anglican Church, we were treated to an amazing Harpsichord concert, Snow on Snow, with local Ann Morgan.
