Biggest Blanket Fort Ever!

Bring some blankets, sheets, cushions & all the family to help construct the world’s biggest cosy cubby to play in.
Wear your PJ’s and bring your favourite cuddle toy. Then snuggle up to hear stories and celebrate children’s writing.
11 am – 1 pm Blanket Fort – Build and Play – Families welcome
1 – 1.30 pm BYO lunch to eat in your cubby.
1.30 pm Inside Out Junior Theatre performs “Life as I know it”
2 pm Story time with Dee White – Award winning Children’s Author
(Books include Pippa’s Pets, Reena’s Rainbow Hope for Hanna, and Ed’s Extreme Adventures)
2.30pm Winners of the Words in Winter Children’s Writing Awards announced.
Parental supervision required. This is not a drop-off event.
Dee White is the author of 16 fiction and non-fiction titles for children and young adults, including the award-winning Letters to Leonardo, Hope for Hanna, A Duel of Words and Harry’s Goldfield Adventure. She is a qualified writing teacher and mentor who is passionate about encouraging new writers.

Words in Winter is an annual literary and arts festival held in August each year in the Hepburn Shire and surrounding districts.
