Three Unordinary Tales – to open the festival to our young

Readings by local authors/ illustrators with slide show.

Be the first to get into this new, special series, curated by the festival for our young ones, our teenage ones and those unlimited by age and young at heart.

Join us in realms where nothing is for certain: a fable is fractured in the forest, a river runs deep deep below earth, and fanciful creatures become your soulmates.

Locals read and share their extraordinary words and images that create their books stories.

Claire Kavanagh lives in the Hepburn Shire with her daughter and aspires to weaving more stories and even spinning a yarn or two.

Michelle Pleasance is a maker of pictures, stories and cardigans. She suffers from nostalgia and is inspired by old books and toys.

Caro Harvey lives in Tipperary Springs with her daughter. In her free time she loves weaving.

Bria Floren lives on Porcupine Ridge where sheep eat grass and the sunset is spectacular.

Price: $5/ $10

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are only releasing 50% of tickets now.

If those restrictions are lifted, we will release the remaining tickets 2 weeks before the festival.

So please don’t wait! If you want to attend, please book early. Thank you!
