Local jazz legend Michael Westlake and his piano are your intrepid guides on this rollicking thrill ride through his inner psyche to the outer cosmos.

What has a yet undiscovered moon got to do with call centres in Hyderabad.? Did Mother Superior really know about Jimi Hendrix? Can an audience really hear above violet? A one man show. An audience. A piano. Standup comedy where music is the muse.

Michael Westlake

Michael Westlake is a pianist, composer and performer. A classically trained jazz musician- he is as at home on the stage with solo theatre, jazz trio or salsa band as he is composing for film. He has arranged orchestra for Anthony Warlow and been musical director for Gina Riley , Evelyn Krape, Mark Trevorrow ( Bob Down Show) and Maria Mercedes as well as recording his own CDs. He currently plays in numerous ensembles in the burgeoning Ballarat Arts scene . He likes a good laugh but is also quite serious.
