Story telling for the Inaugaral Words in Winter Story Slam
Everyone has a story to tell and Daylesford based storyteller Anne E Stewart will be conducting a workshop to help you find yours. The workshop will prepare you for the story slam that is part of the 2018 Words in Winter festivities on Sunday 25th August with the theme of Change and Chance.
You will be assisted in finding your story, your narrative voice and then crafting it to a performance piece. This workshop would be useful for anyone wanting to tell stories

Anne E Stewart
Storyteller, writer, broadcaster, MC and public speaker. When you’ve been telling stories as long as I have, (starting in 1977) a diversity of jobs and storytelling experiences come your way. I have told stories in some of Australia’s major cultural institutions, art galleries, schools and libraries as well as on ABC radio and TV. I have been an invited guest at Storytelling festivals throughout Australia, the UK and in Mexico, Colombia and Iran. I’ve developed skills to be a consummate MC with the ability to create shows tailored to audience needs. I run storytelling workshops and masterclasses, and lately have started to develop my digital storytelling skills.
I focus on the shared stories of Australia honouring Indigenous, Celtic, Asian and World stories.

Words in Winter is an annual literary and arts festival held in August each year in the Hepburn Shire and surrounding districts.
