Social Justice workshop with Jade Rosina McCutcheon

This workshop is all about writing for Social Justice. How do we articulate our concerns around fairness and equitable treatment in our community through the Form of Poetry.

 

Having just returned from a long stint in the U.S., Jade now lives in Ballarat. Her poetry has been published in Australian poetry journals such as SCARP, ‘Leaves’ and ‘Wiradjuri’ as well as in American anthologies, Terra Incognita, /pãn| dé| mïk/ 2020: An Anthology of Pandemic Poems, Beyond Words, and The Silent World in her Vase. A recipient of a Kay Snow Award for poetry, Jade has two poetry books published by Finishing Line Press, Kentucky, ‘SMALL FEATHER’ and ‘the tossing dream. She has completed three ‘artist in residency’ programs in Oregon and California. Jade holds two doctoral degrees in film and theatre.
