At this Open Mic event, people will have 5 to 10 minutes to share ‘connections of the heart’ via music, story, local history, poetry or song. Yandoit Cultural, the old church in the bush, is an intimate and beautiful venue with excellent acoustics. At the end of the event, participants and attendees can enjoy a cuppa and the best of country hospitality.

Nikki Marshall from Yandoit Cultural will facilitate the session and encourage locals and attendees to participate in the Open Mic. As a Yandoit resident for the past 13 years, Nikki has initiated and facilitated 'Yandoit History in Story' series, numerous events at Yandoit Cultural, as well as events associated with the Swiss Italian and the Words in Winter festivals. She is an active member of the Yandoit Clydesdale and Franklinford communities.
